As housing affordability and financial risk continue to impact today’s homeowners, real estate professionals must be able to recognize common misconceptions and understand how life
events such as chronic, critical, or terminal illness, as well as death, can affect a homeowner’s ability to maintain housing stability.
This continuing education course focuses on consumer education, risk awareness, and professional
responsibility, while clearly defining the role of the real estate professional and the importance of proper referral to licensed insurance professionals. Participants will gain clarity on how mortgage protection concepts fit into the broader homeownership conversation without providing insurance advice.
